Attempts
A successful attempt awards the listed Thieving experience and one reward from the weighted pool below. Failure awards no experience or reward and deals random damage within the listed range. The base success chance is fixed for this target. The Thieving skillcape reduces the base failure chance by 25%; other modifiers are excluded from this table.

Reward chances are normalized within this target’s positive-weight pool. The base chance per attempt multiplies the reward chance by the target’s base success chance. A failed attempt does not roll the pool.
Permanent upgrade
The permanent Shadow Kit upgrade must be unlocked in Store → Skill upgrades. Permanent upgrades are bought in tier order. This tier costs 25,000 gold and 50 × Gold Bar, and requires Thieving level 55 to purchase.
