Cleave is a weapon enchantment path selected at +21. It is one of three choices for that slot and checkpoint.

Full-strength effect
carry 10% of primary overkill into the next enemy's first attack, capped at 5% of reference max hit; PvE only
This is the full-strength effect at +25 or higher. The path is available in ordinary combat and dungeons.

Earlier earned paths keep their full strength when a piece moves into a later tier.

These materials are consumed only on the first successful crossing of +21 with this path. A failed attempt consumes its gold and scroll, but leaves these materials intact.
