Protect from Melee
Protect from Melee is a combat Prayer requiring level 43.

Effect
In staking PvP, this prayer reduces incoming melee damage by 40% while active and Prayer points remain. It does not make the character immune to that combat style.
This protection reduction currently applies in staking PvP. It does not currently reduce damage from monsters. Staking rules that disable Prayer also disable this effect.
Prayer drain
The base drain is 4 Prayer points per 42 seconds of elapsed combat time. Drain weights from active prayers add together. Equipment and skillcape effects can modify consumption. When stored points run out, active prayers are cleared.
