The Equipment Forge upgrades an owned predecessor into a new piece using additional materials and gold. Forge upgrades are separate from ordinary production recipes.

Making an upgrade
Each Forge recipe lists its predecessor, required skill level, additional materials and gold fee. Select the exact owned predecessor to upgrade. The predecessor and materials must be unlocked, and account-bound equipment cannot be used.
One predecessor is consumed and one upgraded piece is produced. The resulting item keeps its enchantment level and selected paths. If a stack contains multiple predecessors, only one copy is upgraded.
Equipment sets
When the selected predecessor is equipped, its upgraded replacement is placed into the matching equipment slots. The replacement also retains its bank tab assignment.
Experience
Forge upgrades do not run as timed production activities and do not award the ordinary recipe's listed production XP. Use the individual recipe's Forge details when checking costs.
